Airport Meetings explained...

We meet hundreds of passengers every day at Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted Airports. While we do our best to keep things running smoothly, uncertainity of flight times, potential delays and flight cancellations can cause confusion over times. Immigration, baggage and Customs delays can cause additional problems.

How do we check flight arrival times?
We attempt to track flight arrival times in our control room, combining different sources of information from the airlines, British Airports Authority (BAA), Heathrow's own Flight Information System and OAG.
As safety is the main consideration for all flights, the only person who actually knows, for certain, when a flight is going to land is the person in the control tower.
How long after landing should I book my pickup?
We always recommend that you book your driver to be at your chosen pickup point a number of minutes after the expected landing time of your flight. Even if your flight lands on time, it can take time for the plane to taxi to the stand and immigration queues and luggage delays could delay your arrival at the customs barrier.
How long will the Black and White driver wait?
The driver will wait for you for any reasonable length of time provided you contact us and ask us to wait.
If we do not receive any contact from the passenger while the driver is waiting at the airport, then we will normally wait for the following lengths of time:
Domestic flights: 45 minutes
International flights: 60 minutes
IntercontinentaL flights: 90 minutes
Where will the driver meet me?
We have a list of places both inside and outside the terminals where it is possible for you to meet up with your driver with the minimum of inconvenience. If you are not sure where you would like to be met, our booking staff will be able to help you with an appropriate location.
